This information indicates whether the body was properly disposed of as required by law. It also serves to locate the body in case of exhumation, autopsy, or transfer. It also provides specific information to future descendants on the exact location of the remains. Enter the name of the city, town , or village and the state (if out of state), or foreign country where the place of disposition is located. If there is any question about how to record the place of disposition, contact your State or Local Registrar.
