Course Schedule: Classroom Interactions

There are five broad topics that we will cover in this course: Teacher-student interactions, Student-student interactions, Design and implementation of appropriate math and science learning activities, Development of a classroom community, and Practical teaching observation and experience.

We will endeavor to follow the schedule below, though topics and readings may change. The dates of the field experiences will not change. Readings are contained in your course packet, unless noted otherwise. Note that the readings in the packet are in alphabetical order by author. A reading list has been provided to make locating the readings as easy as possible. Please read the assigned articles before class on the date listed.
