Data entry skills have been completed by filling out the Student Information Form plus collecting the information for the Lesson on the 50 states from the World Wide Web. Searching techniques have been developed by using the World Wide Web to find data for your unit. This module discusses the creation of the database structure and exhibits ways to manage the data.

Be sure you feel comfortable with the skills required to use AppleWorks Draw.
Practice Application: Be able to identify parts of a database: (file, record, field), plus the concepts of sort (arrange), search (find), and report data in various forms. Demonstrate your ability to handle the two components of database production, creating the database structure and entering the data. If you are having problems, use the tutorials on the right, submit questions to the TeachNet 371 Questions folder, or contact your instructor for a one-on-one session.

When you feel competent in each area, do the required application and submit it to the Dropbox.
