Computer Supported Collaborative Learning Theories
This site introduces briefly theories related to Computer Supported Collaborative Learning, such as Vygotsky's sociocultural theory, Cognitive Flexibility Theory, Constructivism Theory, Cognitive Apprenticeships, Problem-based learning/Anchored Instruction, Self-Regulated learning/Metacognition Distributed Cognition, and Situated Cognition.

Computer-Mediated Collaborative Learning
This article introduces a conceptual framework for understanding the role of computer-mediated interaction based on a sociocultural analysis of the relationship between text, talk, and learning. The article then analyzes five main features of online interaction to evaluate their potential contribution to language education, based both on this conceptual framework as well as on a review of research to date.
