Projects for the Web

Here are some of the web-based projects that I have been working on during my course of study at U.T..

Intelligent Agents
This was a report for a class in Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems. (LIS 385T:  Summer semester, 1998)
Teacher-to-Teacher Telecollaboration  This was a project for a class in Teaching and Learning with the Internet.  (EDC 385G: Spring semester, 1999)
The Death Certificate Continuing Medical Education Project  This project began as an assignment for a class in Advanced Instructional Systems Design (Spring semester, 1999, in which we had to work on a real world project. Two classmates and I  worked with the Texas Department of Health on their first-ever Web-based continuing medical education unit.  (We got a lot of razzing from classmates about the name and subject matter of this project!)
The I.T. Doctoral Student Survival Guide  This project was for the I.T. doctoral seminar class (EDC 385G, Spring semester, 1999).  Our class wanted to put some material together that might help others enrolled in the program to plan their study program.
Inquiring Minds  This project was for a class in Introduction to Systems of Human Inquiry (EDA 387Q, Fall semester, 1999).  Our group wanted to get some information about how some of the researcher-professors at U.T. defined their research paradigms.
Legos for Learning This Web page is a way to collect information and resource materials for my (upcoming in Fall, 2000) doctoral candidacy exams.  Much of this material represents the combined efforts of our study group members in trying to winnow down the topics to the essential building blocks -- what we're calling the "Lego" approach.
